  • The color-coded tickets will symbolize the area on the field where the senior will be sitting, where students/families should park, where student/families will enter into the stadium, and which quadrant families should sit inside the stadium.
  • Stadium parking gates open at 6:00 pm
  • Seniors can begin entering the stadium at 7:00 pm and must be seated no later than 7:45 pm.  Seniors who are not seated on the field by 7:45 pm may miss the ceremony.

    Commencement Behavior Expectations

  • Students will be checked-in by campus staff when they arrive to the stadium.  No purses, cell phones, air pods, bags, umbrellas, or other personal items should be carried on to the field.
  • Students possessing prohibited items (vapes, tobacco products, weapons, alcohol, etc.) will be referred to the Sherriff Liaison Officers and not allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony.
  • We will not be allowed to have a graduation practice; therefore all students must follow all directions given the day of graduation.
  • Inappropriate behavior or behavior not in keeping with the dignity of the ceremony will not be tolerated and students participating in such behavior will be subject to removal.
  • The only acceptable activity during the ceremony is observing and listening to what is happening on the stage. The adult line leader for your row will assist you in getting to the stage at the appropriate time.
  • Students must leave the field in a timely manner after the conclusion of the ceremony and should exit the field through the same gate that they entered.

  • The graduation cap (mortar board) is to be worn straight and leveled (not tilted).  The tassel should be hanging on the right side of your mortar board.
  • No decorated mortar boards will be allowed.
  • Young Men: White or light-colored shirt (graduate gowns are V-neck), dark tie, dark slacks, dark dress shoes & socks.
  • Young Women: Dress/skirt that does not extend below the gown or black slacks, dark dress shoes. Simple jewelry, such as a watch and simple earrings, is acceptable. Because of the unstable turf, flat heels should be worn. No spiked heels or stacked wedges are allowed. This is for your safety and to avoid embarrassment.
