Counselor's Corner

CBHS Guidance and Counseling Team

Our first priority is our students. We readily make ourselves available to students in need of guidance and counseling throughout the school day. To ensure all students are well-served with the time and attention they deserve, we ask that parents/guardians make an appointment with their student’s counselor to allow adequate scheduling and preparation.

The Counseling Team at CBHS is divide by alpha split. Students are assigned a counselor based on their last name. We also have a counselor that works with our student identified as Special Education and those that received 504 services. To round out our team we have a Student Support Counselor who provides group and individual counseling, and a Career Specialist who provides assistance with Naviance, career exploration, and other services.

We are committed to providing our students with a comprehensive guidance and counseling program to include:

Guidance curriculum to help our students develop basic life skills, such as problem solving and goal setting. Our curriculum also includes the topics listed below and may be previewed by request.

· Bullying Prevention

· Character Development

Responsive services to address the immediate personal and academic concerns of our students.
